Was born in London, England in 1984, but his family moved to Lytham St. Annes while he was very young. With a house overlooking the world famous Royal and Ancient Golf Course of Lytham St. Annes, which has played host to several British Opens and Ladies British Opens, it is no wonder that Phil started playing golf very early, at the age of six, and fell in love with the game.

He spent nearly 10 years working as an assistant at Fairhaven Golf Club in Lytham, learning all aspects of the golf industry, whilst at the same time competing on the national tour. However, it was always helping others improve their game which was Phil’s biggest passion.

 

Over the last decade, Phil has worked in several countries all around the world, including Egypt, Bangladesh, and Thailand. In that time Phil has worked with the likes of David Leadbetter and other world leading coaches as he honed his teaching skills.

Phil brings an open and relaxed manner to his coaching and is able to explain the most complex ideas in golf in a simple manner, made even easier with the use of modern day technology, with which he is an expert.

The best advice Phil can give is that “there are no pictures on a scorecard.” Do not get overly worried with Technique and that there are many ways to swing the club. Phil will help you find the best swing for you and show you how to apply that swing to the golf course so you can write some really small numbers on your score card!
